 My name is Ayako Oda, a veterinarian and a Board-Certified Specialist in Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia. I usually do not interact with clients, but I value good communication with the veterinarian(s) and the veterinary technician(s) involved in each patient to provide careful and high-quality anesthetic and analgesic management. There is always an important reason, such as a diagnostic testing or surgical treatment, for requiring anesthesia; however, people always worry about anesthetizing a patient due to a potential uncertainly. I promise that I provide the best care for each patient during peri-anesthetic period for everyone (veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and clients) to feel a sense of relief. I am also involved in education in veterinary anesthesiology to further enhance the quality of anesthetic and analgesic management of the hospital.
